Scaffold tower has been in use for hundreds of years. But what they really are? They are put together, how? This article will explain the basics of staging and scaffold towers.
Scaffold towers were temporary structures to the construction or repair of a building. While many are not very tall scaffold tower, as long as they need, or as high as needed to the building can be connected. The building needed work, and depending on the situation.
Scaffold tower has been in use for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years. Any time a person can reach some taller than they produce, they need to stand on something. Ladders are fine, but they may be unstable and you constantly have to move them to reach another area. Scaffold towers remain in place, workers can allow room to move, or can be expanded as the work requires taken down. And they probably used the building right next door to you.
But they are put together, how? Well, at the core of scaffold towers are made of three parts: the tube (or pipe), couplers and scaffold boards. That's it. Sure, like other parts of the base plate, a single board, pulleys, ladders, rope, etc. But the main parts of a scaffold tower are just those three things.
So, what are they? Well, long pieces of metal pipe tube that forms the framework of scaffolding towers. They are made of either steel or aluminum, although some Asian countries they use bamboo. Steel, while strong, is also heavier and less flexible when a force is to be presented. Aluminum is lighter, and will break rather than bend when being hit. Scaffolding of aluminum tubes is often used these days.
Couplers are what hold the tubes together. The main types of couplers right angle couplers, swivel couplers and couplers are putlog. Putlog couplers to build a tower scaffold is attached. If you have a free-standing tower or rolling scaffold, scaffold towers are used, they will not be used. Right angle couplers and swivel couplers are what are used when a lateral force or a location where they will take a load to put tubes in compression. Certainly right angle couplers hold tubes at right angles to each other, while the swivel couplers allow tubes connected to each other at any angle. This is especially important when the diagonal is providing support.
Of course, when the scaffold boards are what workers stand to work on the tower. They are usually made of wood, however, modern aluminum scaffold, made of steel platforms, and the overall content are gaining in popularity.
